The GPU-side VRAM thermal pads (1.5mm) are actually not thick enough. I think the original pads were probably around 1.75mm but you cannot buy thermal pads of 0.25mm, and replacing the pads with 2.0mm is too thick.

Webb13 sep. 2024 · If I see a thermal pad I through it away and just put K5 PRO. I have replaced some prety thick pads with it so I guess even a 3mm gap can be filled. No it can't act as adhesive.
