I already have a tuner to use with the Hauppage if needed and an extra computer that can be dedicated for the purpose. I would like to have two independent tuners and have a unit I could just put on the rack and use.

WebSep 19, 2009 · You can delete and rename channels with the DTVPal, but not the DVR+. (The DVR+ used to allow deleting channels, but that ability was eventually removed by a firmware update.) The DVR+ can, however, hide unwanted channels so you needn't deal with them. The user interface and remote control aren't as good IMO.
